Job Summary

The Legal Manager/Company Secretary will serve as the principal advisor on legal and corporate governance matters.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to management and the Board.

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documentation.

  • Act as Secretary to the Board and its committees, ensuring timely preparation of minutes and resolutions.

  • Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and other stakeholders on legal matters.



Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and BL; a Master’s degree or professional certification in governance is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ post-call experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role within financial services.

  • Strong grasp of corporate governance, compliance, and capital market regulations.
