We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join a large African conglomerate with strong interests across all key sectors of the economy. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide strategic guidance to support business growth and sustainability.

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting function of the organization.

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.

• Monitor cash flow, investments, and capital structures.

• Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial planning and business performance.

• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).

• Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).

• Minimum of 10 years progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller (or equivalent role) in a Public Company is required.

• Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate governance, and Nigerian regulatory frameworks.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

• Experience working in a large, multi-sector organization or conglomerate is highly desirable.
