Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve the organization’s financial objectives. The role involves leading a high-performing team, identifying new business opportunities, creating impactful marketing campaigns, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Establish annual and monthly sales quotas, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business goals.
2. Sales Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and branch targets.
- Oversee the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation to deal closure.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and provide detailed reports to management.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
3. Marketing & Brand Management
- Plan, develop, and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, etc.).
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, platforms, and customer touchpoints.
- Identify target markets and craft tailored messages to attract and retain customers.
- Manage marketing budgets, track campaign ROI, and present performance insights to leadership.
- Work with creative teams to deliver impactful content, promotional materials, and brand assets.
4. Financial & Administrative Management
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to financial regulations (KYC, AML, data privacy, etc.).
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets effectively.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate client data.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIM, CFA, PMP) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sales and marketing within the financial services industry.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance house, fintech, or related financial institution.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
- In-depth understanding of financial products, services, and market trends.
- Sound knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management.
