Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Commodity Sales Manager to spearhead and execute national bulk sales strategies for our Rice and Margarine product lines across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in commodity sales, a robust national network of buyers and distributors, and a strong record of driving sales growth in the Nigerian FMCG or commodities trading landscape.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective national sales strategies for bulk commodity products (Rice & Margarine).
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to grow market share.
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including distributors, wholesalers, institutional buyers, and B2B clients across Nigeria.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Drive pricing strategies, product positioning, and distribution plans in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, performance reporting, and actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales executives to achieve KPIs and revenue targets.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience in FMCG or commodities trading, with a focus on bulk commodity sales (rice, margarine, or similar).
- Proven track record of successfully managing national sales operations and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers within Nigeria.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the country as required.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
