A detail-oriented and customer-focused professional responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and delivering exceptional service. The Account Service Officer supports daily banking and financial operations, processes account transactions, resolves customer inquiries, and ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, this role serves as a key liaison between the organization and its clients, fostering trust and long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank customers.
- Act as a point of contact for account-related inquiries, concerns, and requests, and provide personalized assistance to meet their banking needs.
- Assist customers in opening various types of bank accounts, such as savings accounts, checking accounts, and fixed deposit accounts.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation, verify customer identities, and comply with regulatory requirements. Update account information and process account closures or transfers as needed.
- Conduct financial transactions on behalf of customers, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and currency exchanges.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with banking policies and procedures. Address any transactional issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Regularly review customer accounts to ensure compliance with account maintenance requirements and assess potential risks.
- Identify suspicious activities, potential fraud, or money laundering and report them according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Generate and distribute account statements, transaction summaries, and other relevant documents to customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, inquiries, and disputes effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
• Only BSC in any related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as a service executive, preferably in banking or financial services environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Salary - N210,000 – 225,000
