Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in consulting services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving strategic growth initiatives to expand the firm’s market presence. Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the consulting sector
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase revenue and client base
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across industries
- Collaborate with senior management to craft customized service offerings and proposals
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Lead pitch presentations, RFP responses, and client onboarding processes
- Monitor project performance and ensure client satisfaction throughout service delivery
- Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, and industry forums to promote brand visibility
- Prepare detailed reports and forecasts for management on business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years' business development experience in a consulting firm or professional services environment
- Proven track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of consulting services, client management, and proposal development
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital communication platforms
