Job Summary

The Head of Commercial will be responsible for driving Transcorp’s commercial strategy, revenue growth, and market positioning within the energy and power sector. This role will oversee pricing, contracts, partnerships, and business development initiatives to ensure sustainable profitability and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company’s commercial and revenue growth strategy in line with corporate objectives.

  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing models, and commercial agreements with key stakeholders, partners, and off-takers.

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives within the energy and power sector.

  • Oversee sales performance, revenue forecasting, and commercial risk management.

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure commercial compliance and efficiency.

  • Drive market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.

  • Manage and mentor the commercial team, ensuring high performance and accountability.

  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance requirements.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial, business development, or revenue-focused role, preferably within the energy, power, or infrastructure sector.

  • Proven track record of leading commercial strategy, contract negotiations, and revenue growth.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with regulators, partners, and large corporate or public-sector clients is an added advantage.
