Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Account Officer to support the company’s accounting, financial recordkeeping, tax documentation, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate must be discreet, proactive, ethical, and conversant with Excel and basic accounting software.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and reconciliations.
  • Support the processing of payments, receipts, invoices, and expense records.
  • Assist with tax-related documentation and compliance matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
  • Update accounting records using Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Reconcile accounts and support internal financial controls.
  • Monitor financial transactions and report discrepancies where necessary.
  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team.
  • Ensure all financial records are properly filed and easily retrievable.


Requirements
  • Minimum of OND in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and their application, including L.I.R.S and F.I.R.S requirements.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be discreet and able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must be conversant with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Strong moral and ethical conduct.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage stress effectively.
  • Must be innovative and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must preferably reside around Okota, FESTAC, Isolo, Oshodi, Ikotun, Surulere, Ijesha, or nearby areas.


Salary - N150,000 to 200,000
