Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape in Abuja and across Nigeria, with a proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and business expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities including corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and government accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and high-value clients
  • Drive sales for rooms, conferences, events, and hospitality services
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals to maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement campaigns that increase brand visibility and bookings
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management
  • Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms
  • Ensure exceptional client experience and retention strategies are implemented


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA is an added advantage)
  • 7–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the hospitality industry
  • Strong network within Abuja’s corporate and hospitality ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


Salary - N1,000,000 to 3,000,000
